It's So Hard....

It's so hard to continue to thank God for something you don't have yet.

What is your "It's so hard..."?

It's so hard to forgive someone who isn't sorry.

That it is :( I've had to do that with a couple "friends". The trust is gone as is the friendship. You have to forgive and let go. I think that's the hardest part of it. You have to let go. All you can think is that you don't want to lose what you had. You think if I just hold on a little longer what we had will return. You don't want to believe that it's really gone. I've had four friendships that I had to forgive and let go. The first two were like yours. They weren't sorry. The third just dropped off the face of the earth and we were best friends at one time. The fourth friendship is now stronger than before. It took quite some time to heal but we both wanted it to work. That was the difference between the friendship that lasted and the ones that fell by the wayside. It takes two.

Carrie, you are an amazing woman, friend, wife, and mother. You deserve better. God is good all the time.

I can't tell you to let go because I don't know if I could. I'd just want to kick him and beat him until he saw what he was losing and he decided to change. I love you. One day he will see what he lost, I just pray it's not too late. You are a blessing. Stay strong :)

I have to agree with Carrie - this is my biggest struggle! I can't grasp it! HOW do we forgive someone who isn't sorry? When we ask God to forgive us, He does. But he knows our heart & He knows we are truely sorry... so He forgives us. How do we do this if the person is not sorry?
