The nurse practitioner said he's eating well. He just must have a high metabolism. He eats about 4 oz of fruits and veggies and 1/4 c cereal for breakfast, 9 oz of fruits and veggies and 1/2 c cereal for lunch and the same for dinner. He'd usually eat more if I'd let him, but I think that is more than enough. Plus he still gets breast milk 5-8 times a day. He's allowed to eat table food now as long as he's already had it pureed. At 9 mo he is allowed to start eating meat. : )

6 mo tomorrow
At 5 months Bubby began rolling completely over and so much more. He'll be 6 months tomorrow and he slept through the night for the first time : ) 7pm - 7am
He's eating so much. He eats 3.5 oz of veggies and 1/4 cup of cereal for breakfast and 7 oz of veggies and cereal for lunch and dinner. I usually give him a few bites of fruit for dessert. He would eat more, but I just don't think that would be good for him. He still breastfeeds 5-8 times a day. He's regular, giving mommy presents about 4-8 times a day.
Oh, he just woke up. Later : )

Sleeping later
Bubby woke up at 5:45 this morning : ) He won't go back to sleep if he wakes up after 5am. So I nursed him and brought him to the kitchen with me. He played a bit in his exercauser while I washed the dishes from last night. Then he started fussing. He eats breakfast at 8am but it was only 7. So I nursed him for a bit and he fell asleep. I laid him down and he mades some noise a few minutes later. I haven't heard him since. It's now almost 8am. I'm praying he'll sleep till 7am soon without waking up : )

Daddy and Bubby day
Joseph new I needed a day to relax. He took today off work to take care of Bubby all day. What a sweetheart! Unfortunately, I've been sick all day :( I still got some work done I've been wanting to do. What's a mother to do?! You just push through : )
Bubby has been screaming when Joseph has been holding him lately. It does a mother's heart good to know they're bonding : )

Thankful : )
I couldn't ask for a better baby : ) Bubby has been taking naps for about a week now. And he's been sleeping at night until at least 4am for the past few days. Last night he slept until 5:50am. I love my Bubby, more and more every day : )
I finally decided. Bubby looks like his dad. You be the judge : )

Confusion and Sadness
Some things that my husband regulary does or does not do started to bother me just recently. It hit a peek today. We talked. I feel much better : )
The beginning of our marriage was rough. I felt like each minute of each day that first week was a struggle. The following weeks the struggles lessoned. Soon the struggles were once a month, then every other month. The last time there was an issue was January of 08'. The conversations that helped end the struggles seemed to get easier and easier too.
Having Jesus has definitely been a key reason for our relationship to withstand those struggles especially at the beginning. However, I know it takes two to make a marriage work. I thank the Lord every day for my husband. Husbands and wives have to put each other before themselves. I truly believe when a husband and wife do that, the marriage will thrive.
It saddens me when one or both people stop placing the other above themselves. Everyone suffers, especially the children. My heart goes out to the children and those who are doing everything they can to keep their marriage together while the other just quits.
I realize my marriage is a decision away from failing or surviving just as all of ours are. My prayers go out to all of you who are fighting for your marriage. I pray the decision falls on the survival side.
God is good.
